Encourage collaboration between fellow students and faculty by providing a forum to exchange knowledge and discuss different research ideas, theories, and methods used in the field;

Build a stronger connection between the professional and academic aspects of Human Factors; and

Provide an information and support network to new and existing students.

Throughout the semester, we are planning to hold a variety of events, such as:

Hosting industry speakers and academic speakers from other departments and universities

Providing a resource for upcoming Human Factors related conferences and speakers

Touring local facilities

Discussions and round tables on topics ranging from industry methods, research ideas, and current issues surrounding the Human Factors field

Organizing social outings
