Research Interests
My laboratory is generally interested in delineating neural structures
and systems involved in mammalian learning and memory. We use a
variety of neuroscience techniques including electrophysiology,
neuroanatomy, and neuropharmacology to study the involvement of
the brain in the acquisition and performance of several simple learning
and memory paradigms. Much of our current research involves the
use of the classically conditioned fear response. Currently, we

the role of the hippocampus during conditional discrimination
using discrete and contextually-based conditional cues.

the role of glucocorticoid receptors in stress-learning interactions.
