    Four seniors at the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering are headed to top-ranked, engineering graduate schools in fall 2009. But this isn't earth-shaking news. The CoE regularly graduates high-achieving students who go on to graduate school. What makes this story special is that all four engineering students were participants in the MESA Engineering Program (MEP), which supports educationally disadvantaged and first-generation college students to attain four-year degrees in engineering.

    On Saturday, April 25 the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) hosted WOW! That's Engineering! at SJSU's Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering. Over 70 young women and their parents visited the college for a half day of workshops, tours and information sessions.

    It was a very special evening for over 400 people who attended the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering 2009 Awards Banquet. The academy, in this case, is San Jose State University. The people receiving the awards were outstanding SJSU alumni, faculty, students and staff.
