2007 Scholarship Luncheon

Each year the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering makes available over 25 SJSU Silicon Valley Engineering Scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $22,000. These scholarships are very important because they enable students to focus on and achieve their educational goals.

These merit-based scholarships are available for both incoming freshmen and upper division transfer students in engineering or technology programs. The competition is fierce, and over 100 semi-finalists are interviewed.

Silicon Valley companies and San José State University engineering alumni sponsor the scholarship program. The Davidson College of Engineering would like to thank these individuals and companies, who made these scholarships possible. Your gift not only supports the individual student, it also supports the future of engineering.

I want to thank the business and corporate sponsors for funding the scholarship. Their recognition of my hard work, their belief in my continued success, and their financial backing motivates and allows me to be diligent and committed to achieving my academic and career goals.
